As a tall woman, pajamas are some of the hardest things for me to find, so whenever I find a great pair, I definitely stock up! I always have a hard time finding tall activewear. I usually just wear shorts or capris, but I recently discovered tall yoga pants at oldnavy.com – a Tall Clothing Resource FAVORITE! I just purchased the tall sweaters pictured below and I am in LOVE! The arm length and torso length is perfect! They have a wide color selection in tall sizes. Tall Maxi Dresses are still a big hit this season! Unfortunately, maxi dresses are not an article of clothing where tall women can get away with wearing a regular size. I tried a regular size maxi dress on the other day and it looked like I was planning for major flood waters. It looked absolutely ridiculous. With the Kentucky Derby less than a month away, now is the time to get the perfect dress! As tall women, we can sometimes get away with wearing a regular size dress, but it’s always better to have a tall size. It’s just harder to find. I especially had a hard time finding Derby-appropriate dresses in tall sizes, but Long Tall Sally has a nice selection of tall dresses.

For those of you getting ready for a beach spring break, now is the time to buy the perfect bathing suit. If you opt for a bikini, you should have no problem finding the perfect bathing suit as many retailers already have a large selection of swimsuits. Bikinis are one of the few items that tall women can actually wear without it being a “tall” size. However, if you are seeking a tall one-piece swimsuit or tall tankini, you will need to purchase online. Many of us are in the middle of winter and battling the snow, making a tall coat a must-have, especially if you enjoy sledding or skiing. In the past, trendy tall coats have been difficult to find, but Eddie Bauer has a large selection of tall winter coats. In fact, their Slope Side Down Parka was recently featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, as a fashionable way to beat the winter chill. Not only is it super warm and fashionable, it is available in tall sizes!

Jeans are one of the hardest things to find for tall women, especially if you want to wear heels with them. I can get away with wearing 34″ inseam if I am wearing flats, but if I want to wear any type of heel, I need at least a 36″ inseam. Unfortunately, once you go up to a 36″ inseam, the jeans become less trendy. Lucky for us tall girls, the Buckle.com typically has a decent selection of tall jeans that are trendy. Here are of couple of jeans that I purchased over the weekend and LOVE! Both pair have a 35″ inseam, but feel much longer.

With the new year come many New Year Resolutions. Often times, these New Year Resolutions include going to the gym more or dropping a few pounds. Not many people enjoy going to the gym, but at least now you can do it in style. Here are a couple of my very favorite tall activewear pieces.
The tall hoodie from Gap.com is great! It’s a burnout hoodie, so it’s super trendy, but it’s also super soft and very long! I also LOVE my workout pants from oldnavy.com! The fit is extremely flattering and they have a 36″ inseam. I have a few pair that I ALWAYS wear to the gym. This is an absolute must-have for all tall women!!
