With the cool, fall weather almost here, now is the time to stock up on fall essentials. Tall cardigans are a must-have this season and they look great when layered with a tank or button down and a skinny belt. Cardigans are extremely versatile so you will look trendy whether you pair the cardigan with a skirt for work or skinny jeans for a night out.
Here are some of my favorite tall cardigans.

Leggings are a super hot trend this season…so hot that they are offered in both denim and knit. I haven’t worn the denim leggings, but I can only imagine how uncomfortable they must be. Regardless of how uncomfortable they are, they look great. And lets face it, most girls (including myself) will sacrifice comfort for trendy good looks.
Knit leggings, however, are super comfortable and look ultra trendy when paired with a long tunic or long sweater. I love my knit leggings and found several in extra long lengths!

Its hard to believe, but boot season is almost here! Boots are always in fashion and they come in a huge variety (e.g. stilettos, flats, suede, leather, etc). On the down side, the large selection quickly diminishes after size 10. Finding boots that come in big enough sizes for tall girls is a challenge, but I did find some trendy boots for less than $100. Shop fast because the larger shoe sizes go quickly!

Shopping for tall jeans is hard enough, but if you’re tall AND curvy, like me, jeans are nearly impossible to find. Several retailers claim to have tall curvy jeans, but they are too short – only a 35″ inseam. If a 35″ inseam is long enough for you, try Eddie Bauer, Newport News, or NY & Company. If you need at least a 36″ inseam, here are a couple of great jeans – perfect for tall girls who are curvy.

I didn’t think this trend would stick around very long, but skinny jeans have proven me wrong. Skinny jeans are the hottest trend right now in denim! And, this is one trend tall girls can take advantage of this season. Select retailers are carrying several pair of tall skinny jeans, so us tall gals shouldn’t have any trouble finding a great pair of skinny jeans at a reasonable price!

Its hard to believe it is almost time to go back to school! On the bright side, several retailers are having back to school sales, which means now is the best time to stock up on jeans. A good pair of tall jeans are hard to find, often leaving tall women at the mercy of the price tag, which could be as much as $200. I’ve worn $200 jeans and I’ve worn $50 jeans and couldn’t tell a huge difference. Believe it or not, $50 will go a long way and will get you a nice pair of jeans that actually fit!
Here are some great tall jeans that are less than $50.

Even though we still have a few weeks of summer to enjoy, many retailers are trying to make room for their fall inventory, so they are taking heavy markdowns on their “tall” summer stock. This means now is the best time to stock up on your tall clothing summer essentials, but at these prices, you need to act fast as the best selling styles are moving quick!

No activewear wardrobe is complete without a hoodie. Part of what makes hoodies so great is they are so versatile - they look great with yoga pants, shorts, or a pair of jeans! And, they are oh so comfy!!

I always have the hardest time trying to find tall actviewear tops, so when I do find some, you better believe I stock up!!

Tall Activewear Must-Have #2: Tall Skirts & Skorts
Finding cute clothes to wear on the tennis court or golf course is nearly impossible if you are a tall girl. Whenever I play tennis, I want to dress like most other girls and wear cute skirts. Unfortunately, most skirts barely cover the toosh of the average height woman, so you can only imagine how inappropriately dressed a tall woman would feel wearing the same exact skirt.
Luckily for us tall girls, tall activewear is now available in skirts and skorts – perfect for running or playing tennis or golf. Now even tall women can dress cute while playing sports!! Check out these super cute tall skirts and tall skorts that are sure to satisfy nearly all budgets.
